POULTNEY, Vt. – Lyndon received points from 14 different players en route to a 95-62 victory over Green Mountain in North Atlantic Conference men's basketball action.
Phil Warrick (Springfield, Mass.) tallied a team-high 15 points for Lyndon, who shot 54 percent from the field on the night and forced the Eagles into 18 turnovers.
Leading 44-27 at intermission, the Hornets continued the onslaught in the second half, draining 20 field goals including five from beyond the three-point arc. Lyndon received plenty of help from its reserves, who poured in 45 points on the night compared to only four for Green Mountain.
Ben LaCure did most of the damage for the Eagles with a game-high 21 points keyed by a 4-of-9 effort from beyond the arc. Kenneth Williams chipped in 15 while Felix Rojas added 11. Green Mountain struggled on glass, grabbing only 25 boards to 45 for the Hornets.
