LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Lyndon ran its North Atlantic Conference record to 2-0 on the season with an 8-5 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington.
Ryan Brown (St. Johnsbury, Vt.), Max Ercole (St. Johnsbury, Vt.), Dan Randall (Delmar, N.Y.) and Anthony Amoroso (Jamestown, N.Y.) led the Hornets with two goals each and Brown also collected two assists in the contest. Ercole, Randall and Luke Norman-Lacroix (Barre, Vt.) had one assist each for Lyndon.
Ben Altmaier, Jon-Michael Roy, Tennessee Peters, Nathan Chase and Brandon Melville had one goal apiece for the Beavers with Matt Roy earning two assists and Altmaier one.
Matt Reynolds (New Fairfield, Vt.) made nine saves in the Lyndon net to earn the win while UMaine-Farmington goalkeeper Hunter Rowell stopped 12 shots in the loss.
