Waterville, ME - Lyndon State College men's lacrosse attackman Zachary Carey (Exeter, NH) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the Week ending April 29th. Carey led the Hornets to a pair of wins last week as Lyndon advanced to the NAC semi-finals.
Carey, a senior business administration major, celebrated Senior Day last Monday by scoring a season high four goals as the Hornets defeated Johnson State College, 23-3, in their regular season finale. He then scored a pair of goals and played a pivotal role in Lyndon's NAC quarter-final 8-5 win at Maine Maritime Academy. Carey was a strong two-way player as well, as he recorded a pair of ground balls and caused three turnovers for the week.
