Lyndon, Adidas sign apparel agreement

LYNDON CENTER - The Lyndon Athletics Department has announced that it has entered an agreement with Adidas to become its sole supplier for team apparel and accessories.

"We feel this a wonderful opportunity to associate ourselves with a major brand such as Adidas," said Lyndon Director of Athletics Chris Ummer. "The agreement will be in effect from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2016. During this time Lyndon grants to Adidas the right and license to use our name and athletic trademarks worldwide in connection with the development, promotion, marketing, advertising and sale of Adidas products as permissible by NCAA regulations."

Specifically, in regard to uniforms, when ever Lyndon replaces its current stcok it will be done through Adidas. Each year that the Lyndon Athletic Department purchases a minimum of $10,000 in Adidas products, it will receive $1,000 in product at retail value. In addition, each year that the department purchases an additional $15,000 in Adidas products, it will receive an addition $2,000 in product at retail value.

In regard to the Lyndon coaching staff, they will receive an additional $500 in product at retail value when named Conference Coach of the Year. Lastly, Any team that reaches the NCAA tournament will receive an additional $1,000 in product at retail value.
