Schofield named NAC Player of the Week

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Tyler Schofield, a junior on the Lyndon men's tennis team, has been named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 15.

Schofield was the lone bright spot for Lyndon in its 6-3 loss to Castleton on Saturday, April 14. Teaming with Daniel Weiner, he battled his way to a hard-fought 9-7 win over Chris Belanger and Matt Trombly in second flight doubles before recording a 7-5, 6-4 win over Adam McCaffery in No. 2 singles.

Thus far on the season, Schofield leads the Hornets in singles victories with four and doubles wins with five.
