Lyndon athletes named to All-NAC East men’s tennis teams
LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Three members of the Lyndon men's tennis team have been named to the All-North Atlantic Conference Eats team for their performances throughout the 2012 season.
Michael Howard, a junior from Rocky Hill, Conn. was named to the All-NAC Second Singles Team while teammates Tyler Schofield of Middleboro, Mass. and Daniel Weiner of Wells, Maine were selected to the All-NAC Doubles Second Team.
Howard was 25 on the season, playing mostly in the first flight. He also amassed a record of 1-6 in doubles play, competing with multiple teammates.
Schofield collected an overall record of 4-6 in singles play, but teamed with Weiner to record a mark of 5-2 in doubles play. Overall, he had a record of 6-4 in double play throughout the 2012 campaign.
Weiner was 2-9 in singles play and had an overall mark of 6-5 in doubles play. Lyndon finished the season at 2-9 overall and 1-4 in the NAC.
