Lyndon men win second consecutive SVC Invitational title

BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Lyndon men's cross country team ran to its second consecutive Southern Vermont College Invitational Title. The Hornets compiled a team score of 46 points, 38 points points in front of runner-up Paul Smiths College (84), and third-place finisher SUNYIT (89).

Leading the way for Lyndon was the meet's overall winner Josh Grant (Nashua, N.H.). He covered the hilly and slightly-long eight-kilometer course in 30:30. Grant was followed by Kenedi Hall (Hartland, Vt.) in seventh place (31:24) and Dylan MacNevin (Northwood, N.H.) who placed 10th with in a time of 31:37.

Wildens Fils (Stamford, Conn.) finished 12th with a time of 31:57 with Michael Farmer (Colchester, Vt.) rounding out the top-five Hornets finishers with a mark of 32:37.
