Lyndon men second at SMC Invitational
COLCHESTER, Vt. - Josh Grant topped a field of 30 NCAA Division I and II runners to propel Lyndon to a second-place finish at the annual St. Michael's Invitational meet.
The University of Vermont, an NCAA Division I institution, won the meet with 21 points and the Hornets came in second with 53 points, a mere one point ahead of St. Michael's, which competes in Division II.
Grant, who hails from Nashua, N.H., ran to a first place time of 26:38 while teammate Kennedi Hall (Hartland, Vt.) placed ninth with a mark of 28:22.
