LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Christine Daniels had 31 points, 19 rebounds, two assists and two steals to lead the Norwich University women's basketball team to an 80-76 victory over Lyndon at Stannard Gymnasium.
Jessalyn Sweeney added 13 points for Norwich, who earned its seventh win of the season, while Andrea Vogt and Kristin Brown collected five assists and three steals, respectively.
Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) led the way for the Hornets with 32 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots. Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) chipped in 12 points and Stephanie Barclay (Barre, Vt.) had a game-high six assists.
With the loss, Lyndon falls to 4-4 on the season.
