Husson trumps Lyndon

BANGOR, Maine - Husson won its first conference game of the season - a 98-62 triumph over Lyndon - behind a career-high 32 points from Noelle Lincoln. Lincoln shot 14-for-17 from the floor in the game and went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe. Husson got out to an early 20-6 lead six minutes into the game and would never look back.

The Eagles were able to hold the conference's leading scorer Donna Lawson (Irasburg Vt.) to 15 points and only four rebounds on their way to the victory. Maisie Sanchez (Waterbury, Conn.) had 13 points and three assists for the Hornets while Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) added 10 points. Ariel McConkey (Fryeburg, Maine) had a team-high three assists and three steals for Lyndon.
