Balanced attack leads Chargers past Hornets

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Kelsey Cahill had 19 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocked shots as Colby-Sawyer beat Lyndon 77-51 Tuesday in North Atlantic Conference women's basketball action at Stannard Gymnasium.

Taylor DeSanty had 15 points and three steals while Cailin Bullett had 14 points and five assists for the Chargers (2-3, 1-0). Mari Meserve added 12 points and 14 rebounds off the bench.

Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) had 15 points and eight rebounds for Lyndon (1-2, 0-1) and Dannika Dobrowski (Plainfield, Vt.) added 11 points and nine rebounds. Chelsea Watson (Eliot, Maine) had a team-high four assists and eight rebounds in the contest.
