Balanced attack propels Maine-Farmington over Lyndon

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The University of Maine at Farmington women's basketball team had four players score in double-figures as it recorded a 65-57 victory over Lyndon Saturday in North Atlantic Conference play.

Kenni Norton led the way with a 14-point, 10-rebound effort and teammate Lindsay Ranquist added 11 points and two blocked shots. Elizabeth Ferry had 11 points for UMF (2-8, 2-3) and two blocks while Holly Oliver contributed 10 points and five steals.

Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) had 22 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Hornets (4-5, 2-3) and Aimee Thompson (Barnet, Vt.) tallied eight points to go along with six rebounds. Chelsea Bagley (Wallingford, Vt.) handed out four assists in the loss.
