Waterville, ME - Lyndon State College women's basketball player Mikayla Hodge (Newbury, VT) has been named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending December 3rd. Hodge, a senior sport management major, led the Hornets to three conference wins for the week, leaving Lyndon alone on top of the conference standings for the first time in program history.
Hodge recorded three double-doubles and shot 10-of-11 from the free-throw line for the week. In a win over Green MountainCollege last Tuesday, she posted 20 points, 16 rebounds, four steals, four blocks, and one assist. She then tallied 19 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in a 75-61 win at Thomas College on Friday. To end the week, Hodge netted 23 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, earned three blocks and claimed one assist and one steal in an 80-74 overtime win at UMaine-Farmington on Saturday. For the week she averaged 20.7 points, 16 rebounds, three blocks, two assists, and 1.7 steals.

Hodge and the Hornets return to action on Tuesday evening when they host Norwich University in a non-conference contest. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm. Lyndon will then host Lasell College in another non-conference affair on Thursday before returning to NAC play with a 1:00 pm home tilt against Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday.
