Flynn named NEAC East Player of the Week

LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Kayla Flynn, a junior with the Lyndon women's tennis program, has been named North Eastern Athletic Conference Eastern Division Player of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 14.

Flynn, a native of Johnston, R.I., went undefeated in the week, earning two victories each in singles and doubles. On Wednesday, Oct.10 against Johnson State, she teamed with Maria Parr to record an 8-3 win in doubles action. In singles play, she was a perfect 6-0, 6-0 winner.

One day later, in a 6-3 victory over MCLA, Flynn joined forces with Kelsey Johnson to record an 8-3 win in doubles before earning a hard-fought 7-6, 6-4 victory in first flight singles.
