Hornet head coach Hayden Bunnell remarked "Jessica hung in there to make finals for the Long Jump, 100 Hurdles, and the 100 meters to score a few points, and Abby came close in getting that NAC title in the Javelin. She is currently ranked 28th in the nation in Javelin. Overall these two had pretty good seasons and Abby has another chance to better herself in the Javelin at DIII New Englands next Saturday. Hopefully with more numbers next year, we can compete better in the NAC."
Salvadore has qualified for the NCAA Division III New England Championship meet in Javelin. That meet will take place next weekend at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The women's Javelin competition will begin at 1:30 pm on Saturday.
