LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Lyndon women's volleyball team defeated Johnson State 3-0 in a North Atlantic Conference match at Stannard Gymnasium.
The Hornets earned their sixth victory of the season, and third in the NAC, by set scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-21.
Maegan Fried led the way for Lyndon (6-12, 3-2) with a 10 kills, nine digs and two services aces while teammate Kayla Cormier chipped in nine kills and seven digs. Setter Taylor Young dished out 12 assists in the match and Erica Ponte added a team-high 10 digs.
Jessica Pafumi had two kills and eight digs for the Badgers (3-13, 1-4) and Kylie Van Etten contributed a team-high nine digs. Michelle Moreau had two kills in the loss while Shelby DavisLane and Van Etten collected two services aces each.
