JOHNSON, Vt. – Lyndon defeated arch-rival Johnson State by a match score of 3-1 (25-20, 25-11, 23-25, 27-25) in North Atlantic Conference women's volleyball action in Carter Gymnasium. The Badgers fell to 1-18 overall and 0-5 NAC while Lyndon improved to 3-16 and 1-4, respectively.
The visiting Hornets held off a Johnson comeback in the first set and then cruised in set two. Johnson took the third set and then the teams went into extra play as the Hornets closed out the Badgers 27-25 to end the match.
Lyndon out attacked Johnson 134-83 in the match which led to a 43-14 kill advantage.
Johnson was led by Andrea Williams who had a tremendous night at the net tallying eight block solo's to go with four kills. Kylie VanEtten had 18 digs and 10 assists for the Badgers.
