From January 24-30, the Lyndon Athletic Department took part in the It’s On Us Week of Action to take a stand against sexual violence. Lyndon students took a pledge to help keep men and women around campus safe from sexual violence by signing a banner. With their signatures, students and faculty promised not to be bystanders and to take action against sexual violence. To aid in educating the community, the Lyndon Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) held Bystander Intervention training.
Recognizing that this is not just a one week affair, Lyndon Athletics is committed in its mission to inform those in our community.
On March 4, 2016, the NAC SAAC came together to film a conference wide It's On Us video. There is at least one student-athlete from each of the 10 member institutions included in the video because in the NAC, we stand together!

It's On Us is a national campaign aimed at fundamentally shifting the way we think about sexual assault. It's On Us invites everyone to step up and realize that the solution begins with us. It is a declaration that sexual assault is not only a crime committed by a perpetrator against a victim, but a societal problem in which all of us have a role to play.
