Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon men's tennis player Neal Mulligan (Marshfield, VT) has been recognized by the North Atlantic Conference for his accomplishments this season. Mulligan was named to the NAC All-Conference 1st Team as a singles player and was also named to the NAC Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the conference office today.
Mulligan, a junior business administration major, has a 5-6 singles record this season, the best record on the Hornet roster. This includes a 5-5 record playing #2 singles, a 5-3 record against NCAA Division III opponents, and a 3-1 mark in NAC matches. He has also played #1 doubles all season, and has a 3-8 record in that flight, teaming primarily with Hornet freshman Patrick Wickstrom (Lafayette, LA).
