Hayden Bunnell was named Head Cross Country Coach at Northern Vermont University-Lyndon in April of 2019.  He had served as the program's Assistant Coach since 2015.

He also served as the Co-Head Coach of the Hornet track and field team in the program's innaugural season in 2017, and became the Head Coach in 2018.

A standout runner, Bunnell is a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and Colby-Sawyer College.  At Colby-Sawyer, he was a four time North Atlantic Conference 1st Team All-Conference selection, and was the NAC Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2011.  He was also a three time All-New England selection and two time All-ECAC selection in track and field.

Bunnell earned a Bachelor's degree and coaching certification from Colby-Sawyer in 2015.  He also holds USA Track & Field Level 1 Coaching Certification.
