LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Kelsey Bragdon had 20 points and six rebounds to lead the Colby-Sawyer women's basketball team to a 69-39 North Atlantic Conference victory over Lyndon Saturday.
The Chargers jumped out to a 33-9 lead by halftime and coasted to their 4fourth win of the season overall and third in the NAC. The loss drops the Hornets to 0-7 overall and 0-4 in NAC play.
Ashley Fruzzetti had 17 points three rebounds, three assists and one steal for Colby-Sawyer while Sara Roy and Jessica Shenkel dished out four assists each.
Emily Gray (Quincy, Mass.) had 11 points, four rebounds and one assist for Lyndon and Drew Neal (Glover, Vt.) had eight points off the bench. Brittney Geoffrey (Derby Line, Vt.) and Chelsea Bagley (Wallingford, Vt.) had five rebounds each for the Hornets and Sarah Cornell collected five points and seven rebounds.
