Canton regained control, however, scoring the final seven points of the quarter to build the lead back to 11 heading into the final period. Lyndon was never able to get closer than nine points in the final period, as Canton cruised to the victory.
The Hornets suffered from a cold shooting night, making only 20 of 71 (28.2%) field goal attempts, and only seven of 37 (18.9%) from three-point range. Meanwhile Canton connected on 24 of 61 (39.1%) of their attempts, including four of 14 (28.6%) from distance. The Roos also held a 50-39 rebounding advantage.
