Hornet head coach Sean Lynch is looking forward to what Buffum will bring to the program. "Hannah has the size and versatility to play multiple positions and fill many roles. She can dribble, pass and shoot. She's a tough competitor and her enthusiasm for basketball is contagious. Off the court, Hannah is a hardworking student and has a fun, positive spirit. We are very excited that she will be joining us next year."
Buffum's coach at Green Mountain, Terry Ferrell, remarked "Hannah is a hard worker who puts in extra time in the gym to work on anything she perceives as a weakness. In addition, Hannah is all about the team, whether it's promoting team bonding or working with younger players to boost skill and self confidence. Hannah was a pleasure to coach."
The Hornets expect to announce additional commitments in the near future.
