Johnson, VT - The Northern Vermont University-Lyndon volleyball team faced NVU-Johnson for the third time this season on Wednesday evening. Unfortunatley for the Hornets, the result was the same as the season's earlier meetings, as the host Badgers came away with a straight set victory, 25-8, 25-9, 25-8. The Hornets remain winless in nine matches this season while the Badgers improve to 9-8.
Johnson had the better of play throughout. The Badgers recorded 18 kills and 29 service aces, while the Hornets only posted three kills. Porsche Johnson led a balanced Johnson attack with five kills while Mason Lores recorded 14 assists. Faith Poirier (Portsmouth, NH) recorded two kills for the Hornets and Cassie Black (Tolland, CT) logged one assist and two digs.
