Zosia Prince sweeps NAC Runner & Rookie of the Week honors

Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon freshman Zosia Prince (Sutton, VT) swept the North Atlantic Conference women's cross country weekly awards for the week ending September 16th.  Prince was named both Runner of the Week and Rookie of the Week, believed to be the first time that a Hornet cross country athlete has swept both conference honors.

Prince competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.  She clocked 21:22 over the 3.17 mile course.  Prince was the top finisher for the Hornets and the top finisher among all NAC competitors in the race.  She finished 161st out of 318 Division II & Division III runners overall.

Prince and the Hornets will host the Vermont State Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships on Saturday, September 29th.  The women's race will start at 1:00 pm.
