Prince earns third Runner of the Week honor this season

Waterville, ME - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon women's cross country runner Zosia Prince (Sutton, VT) has been named the North Atlantic Conference Runner of the Week for the week ending October 20th.  This marks the third time this season and the fifth time in her Hornet career that Prince has captured Runner of the Week honors, as she also received the distinction for the weeks ending September 8th and 29th, as well as twice last season.

Prince, a sophomore graphic design major and the defending NAC women's cross country individual champion, finished 21st in a strong field of 198 runners at Saturday's Western New England University Invitational.  She completed the 6K course in 23:58, a new personal best at tha2t distance.

Prince and the Hornets will compete for the NAC Championship on Saturday, November 2nd.  NVU-Lyondon will host the meet, with the women's race set to begin at 12:00 noon.
